Hi Sreejith. If your Microsoft account shows your birthdate as 29-05-2024 instead of 29-05-1982 and you can't edit it, it's likely flagged as a child account. Microsoft restricts changes to birthdates for accounts under 13 due to safety laws.
Here’s what you can do.
Try editing it directly: Go to account.microsoft.com, sign in, go to Your Info, then Edit profile info. If it’s blocked, move to the next step.
Add your account to a Microsoft Family group: Ask an adult (or use another adult account you own) to go to Microsoft Family Safety, add your account to the family, then manage your profile from there. The adult account can update your birthdate.
Contact Microsoft Support: If you still can’t change it, go to Microsoft Support, choose Account & Billing > Microsoft Account > Profile & Security, and request a birthdate correction. You may need to submit a photo of your ID showing your correct birthdate.
Hope this help. Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Rez
