Using the New Outlook for Mac for personal email and calendar
Click View > Zoom > Reset - this will reset the reading pane.
When I open my email messages, the font is so tiny, it's almost unreadable. Font in preview is fine. Font is settings is set to Large.

2025-11-19T14:59:00.8933333+00:00 Thanks Jay. I understand and have done that, but then it makes everything zoomed.
Then, I need to hit command - to zoom everything else back to a readable size.

This usually happens because the zoom level in the message window or macOS display scaling overrides your font preferences. A quick fix is to open the message and press Command + to zoom in (or Command - to zoom out) in Outlook or Apple Mail. You can also go to Format > Zoom in Outlook and set it to 100% or higher.
In Apple Mail, check Mail > Preferences > Fonts & Colors to make sure the message font is set to a comfortable size. If the issue persists, it might be your Mac’s display scaling—go to System Settings > Displays and switch from “More Space” to “Default” or “Larger Text” for better readability.
