I used Teams every day, but one day I was simply kicked out of my account. I tried to log in, but it said Personal accounts are not yet supported in Teams (preview version). To use a personal account, open Teams on the web.

I tried logging in in different ways, but each time it says open it on the web. I deleted it and downloaded it again, but it still didn't work, even though I can log in to my account in the browser. What should I do?

What Windows OS version is installed on your computer? Is the New Teams application on this Windows version?

It seems that you are encountering an issue with accessing the Teams app on Windows due to a restriction on personal accounts. The message you received indicates that personal accounts are not supported in the Teams preview version. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

    1. Use the Web Version: Since you can log in to your account in the browser, continue using Teams on the web for now. This is a temporary solution until the app supports personal accounts.
    2. Check Account Type: Ensure that you are using a work or school account if you want to access Teams through the desktop app, as personal accounts are currently not supported.
    3. Reinstall Teams: You mentioned that you deleted and reinstalled the app. Make sure to uninstall it completely and then download the latest version from the official Microsoft Teams website. When reinstalling, ensure you run the installer as an administrator.
    4. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date, as updates may resolve compatibility issues with Teams.
    5. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance, especially if you believe your account should be supported in the app.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot the issue effectively.
