My laptop turns on again, after I shut down when it is not plugged in with AC adapter.
Also I'll list some of the stuff I already done to fix it:

  1. I disabled fast startup.
  2. I checked the Battery drivers, and AC adapter drivers, they are fine.
  3. I disabled "wake on LAN" option in the bios. There is no other option that can cause the laptop to turn on again on it's own in the bios.
  4. I reinstalled windows 10 again.

That is all the stuff, I did to fix the issue, but it is still happening.

Thanks in advance of any help, and sorry if my English is not good, it is not my native language. Also any kind of help is appreciated.

    Hello Abdul Hadi,

I can see you've already done solid troubleshooting — disabling fast startup and Wake on LAN were good calls.

First, could you share your laptop's brand and model? Based on the specs, this doesn't appear to be a Surface device, and knowing the exact model helps with BIOS-specific recommendations.

Next, to narrow down what's waking the laptop, please open Command Prompt as administrator and run these commands, then share the output:

    powercfg -lastwake

    powercfg -devicequery wake_armed

    powercfg -waketimers

In the meantime, a couple of things to try:

    • Go to Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings > Sleep > Allow wake timers, and set it to Disable.
    • In Device Manager, expand Network adapters, right-click your adapter > Properties > Power Management tab, and uncheck "Allow this device to wake the computer." Do the same for any USB controllers and input devices that have this option.
    • Since the issue seems tied to unplugging the AC adapter, also check your BIOS for any setting like "Wake on AC" or "Power on AC restore" — some laptops have this enabled by default and it can respond to AC state changes.

Let me know the command outputs and your laptop model and we can go from there.
