Cosmosdb is being in "deleting state" from past 1 week

I am not able to delete cosmosdb in my subscription. It has been more than a week since we initiated this operation.

We checked internally with the backend team regarding the Cosmos DB account that had been stuck in the “Deleting” state for an extended period. The team has now completed the required backend cleanup and deletion operation from their end.

In some cases, Cosmos DB resources can remain in a transitional state due to pending backend metadata synchronization or incomplete delete operations. The necessary corrective action has now been performed to unblock and finalize the deletion process.

Could you please verify the current status from the Azure portal and confirm whether the Cosmos DB account is no longer visible or if the deletion has completed successfully?

If you still notice the resource in the deleting state or encounter any additional issues, please share the latest screenshot/error details along with the timestamp so we can investigate further.
