Changing shipping address on pending order fulfillments

Microsoft defaulted to an old shipping address despite me specifying a new address. The order still lists as "pending" but I can't see any way to change the address nor does MS Support answer calls. If I have to contact the logistics team I need their contact information NOW!

    Hi Gene Petrella

I understand how frustrating this is, unfortunately this is a limitation of Microsoft Store orders rather than something you’re missing.

For transparency, this is a public forum. Contributors here don’t have access to your account or order details, and we can’t contact anyone on your behalf.

For anyone running into the same issue:

    • You cannot edit the shipping address once the order is placed, even if it still shows as “pending.”
    • If the “Cancel item” option is missing, it usually means the order has already been processed or sent to the warehouse, so changes are locked.
    • There is no direct contact for the logistics team, all requests must go through Microsoft Store Sales Support.

    What you can do:

    1. Go to your order history and check if Cancel item is still available: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders
    2. If cancellation isn’t available, contact Microsoft Store support immediately: ttps://support.microsoft.com/contactus
      • Ask for an urgent address correction before shipment
      • Be aware they may not be able to stop it in time
    3. If it ships anyway, you’ll need to wait for delivery and request a return or exchange.

Address changes aren’t user-editable after order placement, and escalation can only be done via support, not logistics directly.

Hope you'll get this sorted out!
