Using older versions of Outlook for Mac in business environments

May I ask if you are using Exchange, IMAP or POP account? Can you please provide you Outlook Mac version? You can check this in Outlook > About Outlook.
If you are using Exchange, please check in https://outlook.cloud.microsoft/ to see if you can send or receive emails there? If yes, that means the issue likely come from Outlook Mac. You can try:
- Remove and re-add account.
- Go to Tool > Sync Status > Check if there is any error message there. If yes, please provide it.
- Make sure Offline mode is not enabled.
- Reinstall Outlook Mac, via Update history for Office for Mac - Office release notes | Microsoft Learn
If you are using IMAP or POP, please provide your provider so I can find more details about port and server name.
