Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls for optimal communication
Hi Gilchrest, Dawn,
In Microsoft Teams, dial-in phone numbers (Audio Conferencing details) are automatically included in meeting invites only when the meeting organizer has the appropriate Audio-Conferencing configuration in place.
Based on this, the behavior you’re experiencing may be related to one of the following:
- The Audio-Conferencing license is no longer assigned to the meeting organizer
- A conferencing bridge (phone number) is not configured or has been modified
- A policy or configuration change is affecting audio conferencing settings
In this situation, please your IT administrator, as they manage Teams configuration within your organization. They can help verify the following:
- Whether the affected user(s) (especially the organizaer) still have an active Audio-Conferencing license
- Whether a dial-in phone number is assigned to their account
For additional guidance, your IT administrator may refer to the Microsoft documentation:
Manage the Audio Conferencing settings for a user in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft …
Manage Audio Conferencing settings - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn
I hope this provides enough clarity and helps you stay inform with your current situation.
Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.
