    Hi! Let me help you.

Does it happen on all websites you try to go to?

A 403 "Access denied/Forbidden" error means the site is blocking access. On Windows 11 with Microsoft Edge, one common cause is local security or accelerator software interfering with connections, similar to how it can block Windows Update.

    Try these steps in order:

    1. Temporarily disable security/accelerator software
      • Turn off any third‑party:
        • Ad‑blocking or ad removal tools
        • Web accelerators
        • Download assistants or “download managers”
        • Third‑party security or antivirus web‑shield components
      • After disabling them, retry accessing the site in Edge.
    2. Reset the Hosts file
    3. Try another network or device
      • If possible, test the same site from a different network (for example, mobile hotspot) or another device. If it works elsewhere, the issue is likely related to local network or security configuration on the original machine.

If the error appears only on a specific Microsoft service (for example, Windows Update, OneDrive, SharePoint, or Outlook on the web), the cause and fix may be service‑specific (permissions, locked site, or role settings). In that case, check whether the 403 happens only on that Microsoft site and apply the corresponding guidance from the references below.
