    Hi!

Does this problem occur in another browser? Try testing in Chrome or Firefox.

Does this problem also occur in Windows, when using a program or simply browsing folders?

Is the ad displayed across the entire browser screen, or only as a notification in the lower right corner?

Configure Microsoft Edge’s built‑in pop‑up blocker and check for ad-related issues:

    1. Turn on pop-up blocking
      1. In Edge, select Settings and more (the three dots at the top).
      2. Select Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
      3. Select Site permissions > All permissions.
      4. Select Pop-ups and redirects and turn on the Blocked (recommended) toggle.
    2. If pop-ups still appear
      1. Make sure Edge is up to date (Settings > About Microsoft Edge).
      2. Scan the device for malware using Windows Security (see Stay protected with Windows Security in the referenced article).
      3. Temporarily turn off extensions to see if one is causing the ads:
        • Press Alt+F > Extensions > Manage extensions.
        • Turn off all installed extensions.
        • If the pop-ups stop, re-enable extensions one by one to find the problematic one.
      4. Block third-party cookies, which can reduce some ad and tracking behavior:
        • Go to Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data.
        • Turn on Block third-party cookies.

If the extra pages are actually website notifications (small alerts from sites), manage them via Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Notifications, and block or remove permission for sites that are sending unwanted notifications.
