My Azure Arifact Signing organization identity validation request has been stuck at "In Progress" for over a month

I found a support article saying validation takes between 1 and 20 days to complete unless additional documentation is requested. On April 25 I received an email titled "Action required: Complete your Artifact Signing identity validation". I clicked the link in that email and ever since then the status of my identity validation has been stuck on "In Progress". I haven't received any other emails from Azure. I am trying to wait until I can code sign my app to release it but this is really holding things up for me.

    Hi AJ,

    Since your request has been In Progress since April 25, this is already beyond the usual documented processing window. Microsoft’s documentation says Artifact Signing identity validation normally takes 1 to 20 business days, unless more documentation is required. After the individual identity step is completed, the request can return to In Progress while the organization validation continues.

    At this point, I would not keep waiting silently or create repeated new validation requests. Microsoft’s Artifact Signing FAQ says that for identity validation assistance you should contact Azure Support or use Microsoft Q&A with the artifact-signing tag, and it also notes that creating more identity validation requests for the same entity while one is in progress does not help.
