In my opinion, the sidebar is a good feature, but I don’t know why it has been removed from the new update. So please bring it back.

This forum is just a user to user forum, Microsoft announced they were removing some of the functionality in Edge like the sidebar functionality and Collections to slim down Edge and make it more responsive, it is unlikely they will bring back that functionality, the best option is to open Edge, press Alt + Shift + i to open the Edge Feedback Panel and make this suggestion to their developers there.
