The latest patch to edge has brought back the 5 wasted pixels on each side of the screen and the bottom.

You used to be able disable them in edge://flags/ however that has been removed.

How do I get it back to a page fills the page. If this is some thing that is permanent ill be looking to move which browser I use to a competitor like Fire Fox or chrome.

See if this suits your needs for the time being.

Right click on the Desktop > New > Shortcut

    Copy/paste this as the location:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --enable-features=msForceNoRoundedCornerAndMargin --disable-features=msOmniboxFocusRingRoundEmphasize

Kill any running instance of Edge then launch it with the new shortcut.
