    Hi Sami-Joseph Bselis,

Good day, and I appreciate the clear explanation of your concern

In order to troubleshoot this issue, you can try to configure settings in the following options below:

Option 1: Check your auto-join profile

TeamsMaestro has built-in filters to prevent it from intruding on meetings where it isn't wanted. If your settings were recently cleared or modified, it might be filtering your calendar too aggressively.

    • Open the TeamsMaestro app inside Microsoft Teams.
    • Click the Settings (Gear) Icon in the upper-right corner and select the Calendar tab.
    • Look at your auto-join preferences. If it is set to "Meetings I host" but you are attending a meeting organized by a colleague, TeamsMaestro will automatically skip it.

    • Change this setting to "All meetings I'm invited to" if you want it back on universal duty.

Option 2: Verify the "Upcoming" toggles

Each synced calendar event has its own individual authorization switch within the app.

    • Go to the Upcoming tab in the TeamsMaestro dashboard.
    • Scan the list for your recurring or upcoming sessions. If the toggle next to a specific meeting series has been accidentally switched off, the bot will treat it as an explicit instruction to stay away and log it as skipped. Ensure the toggle is flipped back On.

Option 3: Add Bot directly into your meeting

If you have a meeting starting immediately and the calendar sync is failing you, please open the TeamsMaestro dashboard, locate the text box in the bottom-left corner, paste the Microsoft Teams meeting link directly into it, and click "Add bot." This forces the bot to bypass the calendar automation and march straight into the call.

However, if you are joining a meeting hosted by an external company or client, their organizational security policies override yours.

    • If their IT administrator has disabled "Anonymous users can interact with apps in meetings" or set the lobby to "Only organizers and co-organizers can bypass," the TeamsMaestro bot will be blocked at the digital door.
    • When the bot is refused entry or left in a lobby indefinitely, the system eventually flags the session as skipped.

Additionally, if the issue persists after adjusting all available settings, you may want to contact Maestro Support at Contact us to determine whether this is a server-side issue.
