Inquiry about how to use Teams Premium

After subscribing to Microsoft 365 Premium, I am trying to use the interpretation feature in Teams video meetings, but the translation feature is not enabled in the video meeting.

After looking into the inquiries, it says to enable it in the add-ons, but I cannot log in to the admin center.

I would like to ask if the account used to log in is different from the Microsoft account.

If it is not different, please let me know how I can log in.

Microsoft 365 Premium subscription provides extended Copilot/AI features, but with this subscription your Teams account is still a Personal account (aka. Teams Free).

The interpretation feature in Teams video meetings requires a Microsoft 365 Business subscription, which is different from Microsoft 365 Premium subscription.

    Dear @재호 김,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, the issue is most likely related to account type, licensing, and admin configuration, rather than a problem with the meeting itself.

Firstly, please help me confirm that you are sign in with the correct account. Because the Microsoft 365 admin center and Teams admin center can only be accessed using a work or school account (Microsoft Entra ID). A personal Microsoft account (e.g., Outlook.com, Gmail) cannot be used to sign in to the admin portal.

Teams Premium features (including live translation / interpretation) are not included by default in Microsoft 365 subscriptions. You must have: A Teams license, and A Teams Premium add-on license assigned to your user.

Even after the license is assigned, some Teams Premium features must be enabled by an administrator before they become available. Many features require configuration in the Teams admin center. Admins manage these settings via the Teams Premium section/dashboard.

Please note that Teams Premium interpreting is not supported with personal accounts. You must use a business account.

    For reference:

Therefore, if you are an end user:

Contact your IT administrator and request them to confirm that a Teams Premium license is assigned, verification that translation/interpretation features are enabled

If you purchased the subscription yourself:

Ensure you are using a business (work) account, not a personal account. Use that account to sign in to Microsoft 365 admin center and Teams admin center.

I hope information above meet your expectations, please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.
