    Hi, tobias blanco

That code looks more like a Microsoft account/session error than a normal “invite really expired” issue. If it says expired right away, it can happen because the browser is signed into the wrong Microsoft account, the account profile is not fully set up, or the invitation page is opening with old cached sign-in data.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

First, open a new private/incognito browser window, then sign in only with the exact email address that received the invite. Do not use another Outlook, Hotmail, Xbox, Skype, school, or work account, even if it looks similar.

Instead of using the button in the email, go directly to Microsoft Family Safety and sign in with the invited account. If there is a pending invitation shown there, accept it from that page.

Also check the invited Microsoft account profile at Microsoft account profile. If it asks you to complete missing details such as name, birthdate, country/region, or security info, finish that first, then sign out and try the invitation again.

If the invited account already has its own Microsoft 365 Personal, Basic, trial, or another shared Microsoft 365 benefit, it is recommended that you check Services & subscriptions because account/subscription conflicts can block the Family sharing process.

If it still fails, contact Microsoft Support using the subscription owner’s account and include the full error code u/hlOhCqu0OzpD0c.9.112. That code can help support check the failed invitation/session from their side.

The expired invitation must be resent and then accepted correctly; once an invite expires, it cannot be reused.

To fix it, the subscription owner (the mother) should:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft account dashboard and open the Microsoft 365 subscription page.
    2. Go to the Microsoft 365 Family sharing section.
    3. Check the list of people the subscription is shared with and remove the old/expired invitation if it is still listed as pending.
    4. Send a new sharing invitation to the correct email address.

    Then, the invited person must:

    1. Open the new email invitation.
    2. Select the “Join now” or similar button to join the subscription owner’s Microsoft family group.
    3. Complete the steps to join the family group; only after joining will the Microsoft 365 Family benefits appear under that account.

If the invited person is already in another Microsoft family group, they must leave that group first before they can join the mother’s family group and use the subscription.
