I wrote an issue about not being able recover my account

I’m at the Microsoft recovery form process and have been for almost a year. The first 10 or so attempts actually gave me a response telling me that they don’t recognise me as the owner of the account, but the last 4 have not done that. I am getting an email telling me that I have sent a form but nothing to confirm or deny my success. I am getting progressively more upset by this as some of the information on that form alone is utterly ridiculous to get. Like why not a photo of me with my ID and bank card next to my face as an option and more that only I would know. Stuff sent to me by friends on my account, things bought on my account, I have that stuff!! I do not however have the email to get subject lines of recent emails that I have sent (if I even ever used them!!). Or access to Skype which may or may not have used a decade ago? I don’t even know where or how Skype functions anymore to even check. I apologise for my frustration, the information that it asks for makes me feel absolutely helpless, when I do actually have information that would prove my ownership of the account. Anyway, any help on why I’m not actually getting responses anymore from this? Last 4 attempts probably.

thank you

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

If you do not have any linked verification methods for a password reset, I'm afraid the only way to recover the account is through the account recovery web form: https://account.live.com/acsr

Important: If you have an active 2FA, ACSR will inform you that your recovery request will be ignored. If you only receive a message that the recovery request is either successful or indicates insufficient information, this means that 2FA is disabled.

You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft, and you can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

Also, you mentioned that you didn't receive the results from the account recovery web form. Please try submitting another request via Incognito/InPrivate window and using different devices and network services. Then check your "Contact email" inbox, junk, and spam folders.

Avoid submitting repeated requests unless you have remembered new information that may help your recovery case, as doing so will only slow down the response to your web form submission.

If your Microsoft account recovery request was not granted, please review this link for tips on improving your chances of a successful recovery: https://support.microsoft.com/office/dc56c3e3-dff0-4ed5-8edb-60290eea6b53

Please be advised that Microsoft Support will not be able to grant you access to your account.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
