Dear Team,

I am currently unable to access my Visual Studio Subscription portal and am receiving the following error message:

"Something went wrong! We are sorry, but our system has detected a problem with your account. If you are still getting this error message after 24 hours, please contact support with the date and time you started having this problem and with your subscription information. Message code: 715-123150."

I was an MCT between 2020 and 2023 and this issue is happening since a long time. I have tried multiple browsers, cleared the cache, and used private/incognito mode, but the error persists. Please help me restore access my account benefits.

Regards,

Error code 715-123150 indicates a problem detected with the Visual Studio subscription account that cannot be resolved client-side (browser, cache, device). Since the issue has persisted long-term and previous troubleshooting (different browsers, clearing cache, private mode) has already been tried, it requires direct Visual Studio Subscriptions support intervention.

    Take these steps:

    1. Go to the Visual Studio Subscriptions support entry point at the Visual Studio Subscriptions portal Get Help tab: Visual Studio Subscriptions support.
    2. If access to the portal is partially available, use the Get Help tab to submit a support case. If the portal is not accessible at all, use the Live Chat route:
      • Open the Visual Studio website.
      • Scroll to the bottom and expand Visual Studio Sales, Account, Subscription, and Billing Support.
      • Select the country/region and choose Live Chat.
    3. In the support request, include:
      • The exact error text and message code: 715-123150.
      • The date and approximate time the error was first seen.
      • Details of the Visual Studio subscription (type, associated email address, and that it originated from MCT status 2020–2023).
      • Confirmation that multiple browsers, cache clearing, and private/incognito sessions have already been tried.

If the Visual Studio subscription was tied to an MCT benefit and that MCT-based subscription has expired, support can confirm whether the subscription is still active and, if needed, re-associate it with the correct sign-in identity or advise on next steps.

For MCT-specific subscription issues (if still an active MCT), tickets can also be submitted via the MCT support portal at https://aka.ms/NewMCTSupport, including full name, MCT ID, detailed description, error screenshots, and the subscription email address.
