Azure Trusted Signing, identity validation failing

I'm setting up Artifact Signing and identity validation is failing during onboarding.

Account type: Organization & Public What's happening: status shows in progress then shows as failed after about 10 minutes without any verifaction email. Exact error / status message: no visible error, just says it's failed. Validation attempts used: I've tried with both business id number and DUNS number. Region: EU-W

What I've checked so far:

  • All bussiness details perfectly match DUNS records and Companies house records

What I need: help understanding why validation is failing and how to get it to pass.
