I use Lenovo, screen recording using snipping tool, and save it to uni one drive. Only the first 15 min is saved, the rest gone. I also check the max recording length in setting is 2 hours, mine only 1 hour 15 min. I need to recover the rest, it's really important

Based on the available information, there is no supported way to recover the missing portion of a screen recording if it was never fully saved or uploaded.

For similar Microsoft recording scenarios (such as Teams or OneDrive-based recordings), the guidance is:

    1. Verify whether the full file exists anywhere in OneDrive:
      • Sign in to the OneDrive website and use Search everything to look for the recording by name, file type, or date.
      • Check the Recycle bin in OneDrive and restore the file if a larger/earlier version is present.
    2. If the recording was interrupted, failed to upload, or only partially saved, the missing portion typically cannot be recovered:
      • For meeting recordings, if there is no complete file in OneDrive/SharePoint and no temporary copy available, the content is not recoverable.
      • If a recording was never fully written to disk (for example, due to an app or system issue), there is no native Microsoft tool to reconstruct the missing part.
    3. If the file was deleted from local storage before syncing, recovery options are limited:
      • Check the Windows Recycle Bin.
      • If the file is not in any recycle bin and no longer in OneDrive, there is no native Microsoft recovery method; only third-party file recovery tools might help, and success is not guaranteed.

If the full 1+ hour recording does not appear as a complete file in OneDrive, in any recycle bin, or on local storage, the remaining portion cannot be restored using supported Microsoft tools.
