Use one of these supported ways to reach a live Microsoft support agent again:
- Use the Get Help app in Windows
- In the Windows search bar, type
Get Helpand open it. - In the text box, type
Chat with an agentand press Enter. - Select the Contact support button at the bottom.
- Choose the product or service that matches the issue.
- Follow the prompts until the options to Chat with a support agent in your web browser or Call me back appear, then select the preferred option.
- In the Windows search bar, type
- Use Outlook/Hotmail web support (if the issue is with email)
- Sign in at outlook.com.
- Select Help in the ribbon, then Help again.
- Describe the issue in the box that appears.
- If suggested articles do not help, scroll to the bottom and select Yes under “Still need help?”.
- Choose Chat with a supported agent in your web browser, fill in the details, and confirm to open a live chat.
- Call Microsoft customer service
- Go to the published Customer service phone numbers page.
- Call the number for the region.
- If there is an initial automated message suggesting online support, wait for the menu options instead of hanging up.
- Use the menu to select the appropriate product and technical support options, then request to speak to an agent.
If Quick Assist is needed again, ensure both sides open Quick Assist, the helper selects Help someone to generate a code, and the sharer enters that code and selects Allow when prompted so the session can continue without interruption.
