    Hi Moegsien Hendricks

Based on Microsoft documentation, the September 2025 update (version 16.101) is the last Office for Mac build that supports macOS Ventura (13).

To download an older Office version compatible with macOS Ventura, please see the following article: Update history for Office for Mac - Office release notes | Microsoft Learn

Once the installation is complete, please turn off automatic updates to prevent Office from upgrading to a version that is not supported on your macOS. You can do this by opening any Office app > Help > Check for updates, then uncheck the "Automatically keep Microsoft apps up to date" box.

If you are looking for an older version of OneDrive for macOS, you may also find the following discussion helpful: how to get standalone installer for one drive as my macOS Ventura cannot run my current OneDrive on…

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

Microsoft 365 for Mac and Office for Mac only support the three most recent major versions of macOS. As of September 2025, the supported versions are macOS Tahoe (26), macOS Sequoia (15), and macOS Sonoma (14). The September 2025 update (16.101) is the last build to support macOS Ventura (13).

    On macOS Ventura 13.7.8:

    1. An older Office build that still supports Ventura (up to version 16.101) can run and be activated with a valid Microsoft 365 or perpetual Office license.
    2. Newer Office builds that require macOS Sonoma (14) or later cannot be installed; the installer from the main download page or Mac App Store will report that macOS 14 or later is required.
    3. After installing the last Ventura-supported build, Office apps will continue to work, but they will no longer receive new updates once support for Ventura ends.

To get an older version that works on Ventura, use an installer specifically for the last Ventura-supported build (for example, 16.100–16.101) and activate it with an existing license. Once installed, do not expect further feature or security updates on Ventura.

If possible, upgrading the Mac to macOS Sonoma or later will allow installation of the current Office version and continued updates.
