Updating the credit card on a Pay-As-You-Go (Microsoft Online Subscription Program) Azure account is straightforward. Here are the steps to navigate and update it:

How to Update Your Credit Card on an Azure Pay-As-You-Go Account:

Prerequisite: You must be signed in as the Account Administrator to manage payment methods for a Pay-As-You-Go subscription.

Steps to Update Your Credit Card:

Sign in to the Azure portal using the Account Administrator credentials for the Alliance Micro Solutions account.

In the top search bar, search for and select Cost Management + Billing.

Under Products + services, select All billing subscriptions or Azure Subscriptions, then select the Pay-As-You-Go subscription you want to update.

Select Payment methods from the left menu.

From here, you have three options:

To add a new credit card: Select Add payment method in the upper-left corner, enter the new card details, check Make this my default payment method if needed, and select Next.

To replace with a previously saved card: Select Replace, choose a saved card from the list, and select Next.

To edit existing card details (e.g., expiration date): Select the ellipsis (...) next to the card, choose Edit, update the details, and select Next.

Note: If you don't see your subscription listed, it may be because the subscription directory was changed at some point. You'll need to switch back to the original directory (the one used during initial sign-up) and try again. Also, make sure you've selected the correct billing scope.

If multiple subscriptions share the same active payment method, changing the default on one subscription will also update it for all others linked to that card.

Since the user is located in India, please also note that due to Reserve Bank of India regulations, credit card information cannot be stored for recurring charges. The user may need to enter their credit card information each time they want to pay for Azure services.

Use the Azure portal to reach the billing area for the Pay-As-You-Go subscription and then update the card:

Go to the Azure portal at https://portal.azure.com and sign in with the account administrator for the Alliance Micro Solutions Pay-As-You-Go subscription.
In the top search bar, type Cost Management + Billing and select it.
Under Products + services, select All billing subscriptions or Azure subscriptions, then select the Pay-As-You-Go subscription for Alliance Micro Solutions.
Select the billing profile name associated with that subscription.
In the billing profile, select Manage payment methods (or Payment methods, depending on the view).
To replace the default credit card with another saved card for that subscription:
- Select the subscription, then Payment methods.
- Select Replace on the current card.
- In Replace default payment method, choose the desired saved card and select Next.
To edit details (for example, expiration date) of an existing card:
- In Payment methods, find the card under Your credit cards.
- Select the ellipsis (...) at the end of the row and choose Edit.
- Update the card details and select Next.

Note: Managing payment methods requires appropriate billing permissions (Account Administrator for Microsoft Online Subscription Program, or Billing profile owner/contributor for Microsoft Customer Agreement accounts).
