    Hi Michael Toupar

I think it can be a little tricky when you need to retrieve the recovery key to unlock your laptop. The easiest way is to check your Microsoft account online; if BitLocker was set up with that account, the recovery key should be stored there. Another common place is in your organization’s Azure AD or Active Directory if this is a work device. If you printed or saved the key when BitLocker was first enabled, it might also be on a USB drive or a text file. Once you’ve got the recovery key, just enter it when prompted and your laptop should unlock normally. If you’re still stuck, you might want to check with your IT admin since they often have access to recovery keys for managed devices.

If everything is okay, don't forget to share your experience with the issue by "Accept answer". If you need more information, feel free to leave a message. We are happy to help!
