Outlook can't open data files

This morning Outlook Classic cannot locate the file for opening the email account

    Hello Ferdinand, It worked the previous evening. I use pop.earthlink.net

    I may have let Microsoft start a backup to Onedrive before I tried to look at Outlook. I'm not sure now.

    The error message is: The path specified for the file C:..... Linda.pst is not valid

    I uninstalled Outlook Classic and reinstalled it. When I tried to add the email account, using the previous settings, it can't connect to the server. Outlook is still working on my husband's laptop.

    Did Outlook work normally before this morning, or were any changes made recently?

    Are you using a Microsoft 365 account, Exchange account, IMAP, or POP account?
