I can login to live.com but not Azure.com

I have added my outlook.com account to Microsoft Authenticator. I can login to live.com fine with my outlook.com email address. When I log in to Azure, Azure asks me for a 6 digit MFA code. MS Authenticator provides an 8-digit code. How can I fix this and log into my personal Azure account?

It might be asking for code sent to mobile, in MS authenticator app, have you added azure credentials?

You added it for live.com so you have to check if you have added for azure as well.

If you're using a personal Outlook.com account, Azure may not accept the Microsoft Authenticator OTP if the account isn't configured for Azure MFA. The 8-digit code generated by Authenticator is different from the 6-digit verification code Azure is requesting. Try signing in using the Microsoft Authenticator approval notification, or verify that MFA is correctly set up in your Microsoft account security settings. If the issue persists, remove and re-add the account in Authenticator and check whether you're using the correct account type.

You can reply:

The 8-digit code shown in Microsoft Authenticator is not the same as the 6-digit MFA code Azure is requesting. Please make sure you are signing in with the correct Azure account (work/school or personal account linked to Azure). If MFA was set up incorrectly, try re-adding the Azure account in Microsoft Authenticator or reset MFA settings from the Azure portal. If you don't have access to the MFA settings, contact your Azure administrator for assistance.
