Account No longer exists

I have had a Microsoft account that was once a BT account. On ceasing with BT, Microsoft took over the account and charged me annually. Suddenly, without warning, the account no longer exists, but I am still billed for it. I can't get hold of anyone to correct their situation. Either a refund or reinstatement would suit. Where do I go

    I can see that you are having issue with your account

    I’m sorry this has happened, especially when the account can’t be accessed but billing is still continuing. Since this is an account and billing issue, you will need to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance:

    Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum.     1. Open a website link - Contact - Microsoft Support 
    2. In the box below "We're here to help", type Microsoft 365, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Support" below. 
    3. In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account. 
    4. Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Manage my Subscription" as the category, and click to confirm 
    5. You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.
